Timber Racking Decking

Due to the large variety of pallet sizes on the market, it is not always possible or cost effective to provide a totally flexible racking solution. Therefore, a cost effective solution to this is to add decking to your pallet racking. The decking can be retro fitted and can be of a timber or steel manufacture.

Timber decking

Timber decking can be open or closed and can be a chipboard design if the loads are light and a picking solution is required. This decking can be installed simply by slotting it over the pallet racking with no fixings required.

Steel Decking

Steel decking again can be open or closed in design, depending on your requirements. Wire mesh racking also requires no bolts or fixings and is easily installed.

Which type of Decking should I choose?

Deciding on which type of decking to use is entirely dependent on your individual requirements. With the mesh, the decking has a low fire risk and is easily maintained with little dust. Timber decking is good value and the thickness of the decks can be specified according to the needs of the client.
